Mail List Set-up

When creating your mail list, please use the following format for your Excel or CSV file:

First Name, Last Name, Street Address, City, State, Zip and NO OTHER DATA in the document.

Below is an example image of a properly created Excel file.

Postcards

The most common mail pieces we print are postcards. Postcards that you plan on mailing with a "USPS Postcard Stamp" must meet minimum requirements.

These are as follows:

Rectangular in Shape
• At least 3-1/2 inches high x 5 inches long x 0.007 inch thick
• No more than 4-1/4 inches high x 6 inches long x 0.016 inches thick

Additionally, the Post Office requires the address area to be left clear of design elements for their optical scanning equipment. Below is a sample 6 x 4 Postcard. The same space in the lower right corner should be left clear on any size Standard Bulk Mail Design.

Presort Standard Mail or Bulk Mail

Mailings done as Standard Bulk Mail may take advantage of the discounted postage rate on a variety of sizes. They are as follows:

Rectangular in Shape
Dimensions: Minimum: 5 inches long, 3-1/2 inches high, and 0.007 inch thick.
Maximum for letters and other cards: 11-1/2 inches long, 6-1/8 inches high, and 1/4 inch thick.
The piece must be Machinable. Examples of a nonmachinable letter include:•  It has an aspect ratio (length divided by height) of less than 1.3 or more than 2.5 (a square
envelope has an aspect ratio of 1, making it nonmachinable).
• It is over 4-1/4 inches high and/or 6 inches long and is less than 0.009 inch thick.
• It is polybagged, polywrapped, or enclosed in any plastic material.
• It has clasps, strings, buttons, or similar closure devices.
• It is too rigid.
• It has a delivery address parallel to the shorter side of the mailpiece.
• It contains items such as pens, pencils, or keys that create an uneven thickness

The USPS has there own specific requirements for mail that you can find here.
